Do you know who your local government chairman is?

Local government autonomy should make this matter more. Funds going directly to councils means we should watch them closely.

In the north people tend to know, because the chairman is often at community events and weddings.

I only found out last year when our street drainage was fixed and there was a signboard with his name.
