• Content you post: threads, replies, and any other content you submit to the forum.
• Technical information: standard server and security logs (for example IP address and browser type) collected automatically by our hosting and authentication providers.

2. Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure, set by our authentication provider. We don't use advertising or third party tracking cookies.

We also set one anonymous cookie, used only to count a discussion's views once per day per visitor. It holds a random id, not your identity, and your browser sends it only to our discussion view counter, each time you open a discussion.

3. How we use your information

• To operate your account and display your content to other members.
• To keep the community secure and enforce our Terms of Use.
• To communicate with you about your account when necessary.

4. Sharing your information

• Your username, display name, avatar, and posted content are public and visible to anyone browsing the forum.
• We share account information with the service providers who help us run 234Chatter (for example our authentication and hosting providers), only as needed to provide the service.
• We don't sell your personal information.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request your account be deleted at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account clears your profile information; your past threads and replies stay visible, attributed to a deleted member, so ongoing discussions stay intact for other members.

6. Your rights

7. Children

234Chatter is not directed at children. You must meet the minimum age required to hold an account where you live to sign up.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update the date above whenever this policy changes. Continuing to use 234Chatter after a change means you accept the updated policy.
