Why can't I upload a file?

A few common reasons an upload doesn't go through:

• The file is larger than the limit (8MB for images, 25MB for videos).
• The file type isn't supported — we accept PNG, JPG, GIF, and WebP images, and MP4, WebM, and QuickTime videos.
• You've already attached 4 files to the post, the maximum allowed.
• You've uploaded a lot of files recently and hit the hourly upload limit; it resets automatically after an hour.
